Truly the best meal we have enjoyed in 3 years of the festival. Also a delightful introduction to a lovely town within easy reach of Prague. Every dish was stylish, without being pretentious. The chanterelle cream soup was a superb opener. The quality of the duck and the guinefowl was magnificent and the cooking was skillful. Service was attentive and the plates hot - as they should be - superb meal. We've booked again for tomorrow!
We had lunch there today and there is little wonder why this is such a highly recommended restaurant. The service, cooking and presentation were truly excellent. Probably one of the best meals we have eaten anywhere. Only small flaw was that the main course duck was not served quit ec hot enough but that could not detract much from a wonderful experience. All credit to the Grand Restaurant Festival for making this great experience available. Thank you
Our experience at Villa Richter on January 26 was exactly how the festival experience should be as it was truly an invitation to return. We live in Prague but had not thought to visit this restaurant previously. The setting is lovely and the service was very friendly but not intrusive. The presentation of the food was exactly as the pictures promised and the quality of each course was of a very high standard and really delicious. The Czech pairing wine was also impressive. Thank you. We will return.

We had this menu last month & enjoyed it so much that I returned last night with a friend to introduce her to the delights of La Truffe. Like me, she thought the meal was very good, in particular the swordfish dish, which had very interesting features like salicorne. It is not often I get a surprising new taste or get a chance to savour truffles. I also posted a review on TripAdvisor, where it deserves to be higher, although normal menu & wine prices need to be lower to attract more business. 5*
This was a pleasant meal but not exceptional. The beetroot starter was overly fussy and seemed to have come straight out of the freezer. The beef was well presented but unexciting. The dessert was the standout dish. Service was pleasant but very slow. We were sufficiently impressed that we will go back -ideally in better weather so that we can enjoy their garden.

On 30/01, we had a very pleasant experience at La Truffe. The service was impeccable and friendly. We were very impressed by the senior waiter who explained the dishes and ingredients. The food was beautifully presented and of high quality - especially the Duo Swordfish dish - one of the most delightful dishes I have ever tasted. The use of truffles in the dessert was a revelation. They take their position in the Grand Restaurant Festival seriously. The festival also made our visit affordable.
